Introduction

Using Halo Answers couldn't be any simpler, as most of the work is done for you! If you want to know more about Halo, or merely want to show off your prowess in Halo knowledge, then this is the place for you.

Anyone can ask or answer a question, even without having to sign up! But we advise doing so, as members have more privileges than anonymous contributors - and get to take part in our amazing community!

Asking a Question

Asking a question is the simplest part of Halo Answers, as all you have to do is type your question into the question box on the main page, and click ask!

Please just make sure that your questions are civil, Halo related, and not hypothetical (Which is better questions). If you would like to know more about which questions are acceptable, and which questions aren't, then please read out Asking Policy.

Answering a Question

Answering questions are a little more complex then asking them, yet is still very simple! New questions can be found in the un-answered questions category, simply click a question you believe you would be fit to answer, and that question's page will open.

On this page there will be a small text box, this is for writing your answer. Inside this text box will be the following code, already pre-written for you:

{{Answer|Replace this phrase with your answer.|USERNAME}}

Simply delete the line with "Replace this phrase with your answer." and replace it with your answer - ''{{Answer|'' and |USERNAME}}, where USERNAME is your username, should be left untouched, as these are tags to mark your reply as an answer.

Answers should be accurate, and civil - don't reply with answers that could be taken with offence, these can get you banned. Always double check your answer against Halo Nation, to be sure that they are accurate and correct!

If you would like to know more about which answers are acceptable, and which questions aren't, then please read out Answering Policy.
